Description
A new and promising foreground plant, Micranthemum tweediei 'Montecarlo' is quickly becoming a favorite among aquascapers. Originating from Argentina, this variety is distinct from the well-known M. umbrosum because it does not grow upright; instead, it creeps along the ground to form a dense, lush carpet.
This unique growth habit makes 'Montecarlo' an excellent, easier-to-grow alternative to Hemianthus callitrichoides 'Cuba', offering significantly better growth characteristics for many setups. It is perfectly suited for aquascaping layouts and Nano Cubes, where its fresh light green colour creates a beautiful contrast against hardscape materials.
