Simply follow the regeneration process and it can be reused multiple times — making it one of the most cost-effective premium filtration solutions available.
Rinse before use.
Place in a fine mesh bag (180 micron or less).
Position inside your filter where water flow is strong.
Monitor colour change to determine exhaustion.
Soak in a 1:1 bleach:water solution for 24 hours
Use regular 8.25% unscented household bleach
No fragrances, dyes, or splash-less varieties
Use a non-metallic container in a well-ventilated area
Rinse thoroughly.
Soak for 8 hours in water with a dechlorinator such as Seachem Prime® (follow dosing instructions).
Rinse again before returning to your filter.
