This highly effective chemical filtration media is designed for use in both aquarium and pond filters. It works by absorbing heavy metals, organic waste, pollutants, odours and water discolouration, resulting in noticeably cleaner and clearer water.

The carbon is supplied in a resealable container to maintain freshness and prevent contamination. It is suitable for freshwater and marine aquariums, as well as pond filtration systems.

Directions:

Using Supa activated carbon in your aquarium filter is an effective method for removing contaminants such as metal ions and dyes. Calculate the required quantity by allowing a minimum of 1g of carbon per litre of water. Before use, rinse the carbon thoroughly in fresh water to remove any dust.

Place the measured amount into a fine mesh bag or secure it between two layers of filter wool, then position it inside the filter. For best performance, the carbon should be replaced every four weeks.
