Aquarium plant from tissue culture in a closed cup. This miniature version of the well-known Alternanthera is characterized by compact growth and a slower growth rate. It is particularly suitable for small aquariums or as a vibrant foreground plant in larger aquascapes. By careful trimming, you can create a dense, red-violet carpet approximately 5 to 10 cm high. High light intensity and the addition of CO₂ improve the plant's growth and overall appearance.

Tips for Success & Care
Preparation & Planting: Carefully remove the plantlets from the cup, rinse off the liquid growth media thoroughly under cool tap water, and divide into small portions. Plant the small clumps into nutrient-rich substrate using aquascaping tweezers.
Maximizing Color: High lighting, consistent CO₂ supplementation, and root fertilization rich in iron will bring out the deepest purple and magenta hues.
Trimming: Regular pruning encourages low, bushy lateral branching, creating a vibrant red-violet carpet or midground cushion.
